There's some good news for Mumbaikars as there will be no hike in the city's Metro fare rates till January 29. This follows the Bombay High Court order on Thursday staying Mumbai Metro fare hike until the final hearing of MMRDA's plea challenging fare fixation committee report.

The stay was granted by a bench headed by Justice Abhay Oka which said that the hike should not be implemented until the final hearing of the petition, filed by Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA).
