Almost 2 weeks after a baby was kidnapped from a ward in the hospital, the management hires guards from a private security agency and initiates process for CCTV cover on premises
Following extensive media reports exposing the lack of adequate security measures at Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital after a baby was kidnapped from one of the wards last month, the management has hired private security guards this month onwards to put to rest security concerns.
While the guards began duty from November 1, sources in the hospital management have confirmed that now the process to ensure CCTV camera coverage on the premises has been initiated and vendors have been invited to submit proposals for the units.
