IIT-Bombay student death: Institute postpones mid-semester exams to October 10-11

In a statement, IIT-Bombay said the mid-semester examinations, earlier scheduled for September 26 and 27, will now be held on October 10 and 11. The rescheduled examinations will follow the same timetable as the original schedule

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Bombay has postponed its mid-semester examinations following the death of a second-year student, the institute announced on Thursday.

In a statement, IIT-Bombay said the mid-semester examinations, earlier scheduled for September 26 and 27, will now be held on October 10 and 11, news agency IANS reported. The rescheduled examinations will follow the same timetable as the original schedule.
