Mumbai is likely to witness moderate rainfall on Thursday, with the possibility of heavy rain at isolated places, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Weather forecasting agency on August 13 has also issued a yellow alert for Mumbai and Thane, forecasting spells of moderate rain in the city and surrounding areas.

According to the IMD forecast, Mumbai and neighbouring areas are likely to remain generally cloudy, with moderate rainfall expected through the day.
