Inadequate fuel forces Dubai-bound IndiGo plane to divert to Mumbai for refuelling

New Delhi: A Dubai-bound IndiGo plane from Hyderabad had to be diverted to Mumbai after the pilot found that there was "less-than-required" fuel in the aircraft.
The incident was reported last month, when the commander of IndiGo Hyderabad-Dubai flight (6E-026) sought permission to land from Mumbai air traffic control tower after it was found that there was one-tonne less fuel in the Airbus A-320 plane than the required quantity of 13 tonnes, a DGCA official said today.
