Indrani&rsquo;s lawyer, Gunjan Mangla filed an application before the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate court, seeking to meet her client.
The application claimed that since Indrani&rsquo;s arrest, the police had not allowed the lawyer to meet her, and Indrani had not even been provided with basic necessities.
&ldquo;On the first day, they didn&rsquo;t let us meet her, saying the investigation was going. They said the same thing the next day, and so we have approached the court on an urgent basis.
This is a constitutional right that she must be given,&rdquo; said the lawyer, whose application also requested that Indrani be allowed a fresh pair of clothes and home food. The court asked the public prosecutor to file a reply on Friday.
