J Dey trial: Judge says case has been delayed, wants daily hearing

In the latest development in the J Dey murder case, Judge AL Pansare of the Special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) Court, has said that the case has been delayed for long and will be heard on a day-to-day basis soon. The judge has also asked the Crime Branch to present witnesses on the next hearing, December 17.
On Monday, the prosecution asked for another adjournment saying that the new Public Prosecutor Dilip Shah wants to study the case. Adjourning the case to December 17, Judge AL Pansare observed that the case has been delayed for around two months and it’s a case that the High Court wants expedited.
