Come Sunday and the Kala Ghoda area in Fort will turn into an art gallery, besides having some delicious food on offer. Visitors will be able to enjoy works by various artists with an open art gallery initiative, which the BMC has approved after it was mooted by Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray. With a green signal from the traffic police that will restrict vehicle entry at K Dubash Marg, various amateur and professional artists will be displaying their work along the area.

About 250 metres of K Dubash Marg will be used for the initiative. It will have exclusive space for walkers and no vehicles will be allowed. Thackeray would also be getting young artists on board, who do not have a proper platform to present their art.
