Kurla landslide: Mumbai Mayor inspects rescue operations, Rs 4 lakh aid announced for victims' families

Ritu Tawde announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh for the family of each person who died in the incident. Injured people will receive medical assistance of Rs 50,000 each towards treatment expenses

At least two people were killed and two others injured after a landslide struck Ashok Nagar, Hill No. 3, in Kurla West in the early hours of Wednesday, August 12.

A portion of soil and debris from the hillside collapsed onto two to three houses, causing casualties and property damage.
