LBT strike: Staff beaten for keeping eatery open

A restaurant owner and his employee were allegedly assaulted by three members of the Shivaji Nagar-Mankhurd Vyapari Association yesterday, making it the first act of violence reported as part of the protest against the Local Body Tax (LBT) in the city
Israr Mohammed (35), owner of the eatery and his employee Raju Khan were beaten up for not supporting the ongoing protest that saw most shops shut in the city for over three days.
