Mahaparinirvan Din: BMC plans shelters, medical facilities and more at Chaityabhoomi in Dadar

As part of the preparations, the BMC will undertake painting and beautification work at the Chaityabhoomi memorial, entrance arch, Ashoka Pillar, Bhimjyot and garden area. Floral wreaths will also be arranged for followers paying tributes to Dr Ambedkar

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday held a high-level meeting ahead of the Mahaparinirvan Din.

Official said that the civic body has planned shelters, medical facilities and more at Chaityabhoomi in Dadar for lakhs of visitors expected to reach central Mumbai to mark the Mahaparinirvan Din.
