A 27-year-old man was killed and an auto rickshaw driver was injured after a huge tree fell on the vehicle amid rains and winds in Thane district of Maharashtra, civic officials said on Wednesday. 

According to the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), a huge gulmohar tree fell on an auto-rickshaw in Runwal Nagar of Flower Valley in Thane (West) at around 6 pm on Wednesday, killing one and injuring another person.
