The long-standing issue of Aadhaar-RC name mismatches causing difficulties for vehicle owners while accessing RTO services has been resolved following representations by the transport fraternity.

The development came after discussions with Transport Commissioner Rajesh Narwekar, IAS, and concerned officials over the difficulties faced by transporters due to discrepancies between Aadhaar details and vehicle registration certificates (RCs).
