<p>In an early morning operation, a team of <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/Maharashtra-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Maharashtra</a> ATS detained a Jharkhand maoist leader after a raid at a chawl in Dhanvi, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/Nalasopara-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Nalasopara</a> (E).</p>
<p>Karu Hulas Yadav (45) was a regional committee member of the banned CPI (Maoist) in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/Jharkhand-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Jharkhand</a>.</p>

<p>Yadav, originally a resident of village Dodga, Tehsil Katkamsandi, Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand has been active in CPI (Maoist) since 2004 and carried a reward of Rs 15 Lakh on his head. He had come to Maharashtra for Medical treatment.</p>
<p>Jharkhand Police has been informed about the operation and further enquiry is going on, said Maharashtra ATS in a press statement.</p><p>
