Maharashtra board exams for Class 10, 12 cancelled: Wadettiwar

Earlier, Maharashtra school education minister Varsha Gaikwad had said a proposal has been sent to the disaster management authority regarding the state board exams for Class 12 students and a decision on the issue will be taken in a couple of days

The state board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 in Maharashtra have been cancelled this year in view of the prevailing coronavirus pandemic, minister Vijay Wadettiwar announced on Thursday.

"Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had already indicated about it in his earlier address to the state. A (formal) decision was taken today," said the relief and rehabilitation minister.
