Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years as the head of a government, describing his tenure as one focused on dedication, development and human welfare.
Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Fadnavis said that under Modi’s leadership, India and its economy had moved from the “Fragile Five” to the “Top Five” over the last 12 years. Modi has served continuously as the head of government since October 7, 2001, first as Gujarat chief minister for three terms and later as the prime minister after leading the BJP to victory in three Lok Sabha elections.
