The Maharashtra government is ready to implement action plans prepared under the Sansadiya Sankul Vikas Pariyojana (Parliamentary Cluster Development Project), Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis said on Thursday, adding that Rs 25,000 crore has been allocated for the development of tribal areas through the initiative.

Fadnavis was speaking at the inauguration of the Parliamentary Cluster Development Project at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai. He said the project is expected to contribute to the development of tribal areas by creating employment opportunities within villages, preventing migration, improving living standards, and bringing about social transformation.
