Maharashtra Director General of Police (DGP) Sanjay Pandey went on a leave without informing the state government and is currently in Chandigarh. According to sources, he went to Chandigarh to look after his under construction bungalow.

Some members of Shiv Sena expressed displeasure and demanded action against him.
