Maharashtra govt approves Rs 1,768 crore housing advance for over 5,400 police personnel

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday announced the approval of Rs 1,768.08 crore as an advance for housing construction for 5,459 police personnel in the state.

In a post on social media, Fadnavis said the financial assistance had been cleared for proposals submitted by the Maharashtra State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation.
