Maharashtra state board students from class IX to XII can heave a sigh of relief for now with the state government deciding to put off the idea of separate passing in written and internal assessment, indefinitely.
Following strong demands from the education sector favouring separate passing to improve standards of education, the state education department was to do away with the combined passing system. But in a sudden move, the government has made a u-turn and decided to continue with the practice of combined passing.
