Maharashtra: IATO to promote tourism in Shirdi, Nashik and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) Chairman Rajiv Mehra has said they plan to promote tourism in Shirdi, Nashik and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar along with other places in Maharashtra and stressed the need for revamping of roads connecting various monuments.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is known for the world famous Ajanta and Ellora caves, Shirdi in Ahmednagar district is popular for the shrine of Saibaba, and the holy city of Nashik houses several places of religious importance including the Trimbakeshwar temple.
