City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO) is developing an integrated bus terminus-cum-residential project in Kharghar’s Sector 14, the first such initiative in the node where a public transport facility is being built beneath a residential complex.

A senior CIDCO official said, “The project has been planned in such a way that there will be no disturbance to residents from the bus terminus. Specific architectural and engineering measures have been incorporated to minimise noise pollution from bus movements and terminal operations.”
