Maharashtra lagging in providing quality ambulance service: Aditya Thackeray

Mumbai: Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray today said Maharashtra should better its record of providing emergency ambulance services to patients in time as it is lagging behind 17 other states in making available such well-equipped vehicles.

He also asked the state government to expedite the work to ensure that well-equipped ambulances reach patients in time, "I have given a few suggestions to the health minister (Deepak Sawant) to make the ambulance services of the state better. Maharashtra is lagging behind 17 other states in terms of providing quality ambulance facilities and it is imperative that we improve the quality of services," he said.
