Man killed, another injured after staircase collapses during demolition work at Atgaon Railway Station in Thane

According to sources, one labourer was pulled out of the debris, while the second remained trapped. The injured worker, who sustained serious leg injuries, was shifted to Shahpur Sub-District Hospital for treatment

A labourer was killed and another seriously injured when an old staircase collapsed during demolition work at Atgaon railway station on the Central Railway line in Thane district of Maharashtra, officials said.
The incident took place on Friday, they said.
