The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) on Tuesday announced that it will conduct a detailed 'death audit' to study causes of mortality and improve healthcare services in the city.

NMMC Commissioner Kailash Shinde reviewed the civic body’s health system and emphasised the need for structured and planned measures to improve the quality of care, reported the PTI.
