Maharashtra Polls: EC files FIR against Ram Kadam over loudspeakers near temple

A case of violation of the model code of conduct and cheating has been registered against candidate for Ghatkopar constituency, Ram Kadam and two others. According to the police, the former MLA, who is contesting from the BJP ticket after recently quitting the MNS, had opened his campaigning office near a Ganpati temple, even though he had taken permission from the election commission only for a party office at Asalfa village in Ghatkopar.
