Neral-Aman Lodge train services suspended for monsoon; Matheran shuttle to continue, says Central Railway

The Central Railway on Wednesday announced the suspension of regular passenger train services between Neral and Aman Lodge on the Neral–Matheran narrow gauge line during the monsoon season.
The suspension of services will be in effect from June 1, 2025 to October 15, 2025, due to safety concerns during heavy rains, an official statement said.
However, shuttle train services between Matheran and Aman Lodge will continue to operate during this period. These shuttles will help visitors and locals travel to and from Matheran, it said.
