Over 2.06 crore voters excluded from draft electoral roll after Maharashtra SIR

More than 2.06 crore electors, accounting for 21.14 per cent of Maharashtra's previous voter base, have not been included in the draft electoral roll following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), state election authorities said on Monday, reported the PTI.

The draft electoral roll currently contains more than 7.71 crore voters, representing 78.86 per cent of the state's previous electorate of 9.78 crore.
