Over 93 per cent of enumeration forms have been distributed and nearly 73 per cent digitised under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Maharashtra, according to the state's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), reported the PTI.
Mumbai city has recorded 90.42 per cent form distribution and 54.67 per cent digitisation, while neighbouring Thane has achieved 82.33 per cent distribution and 46.55 per cent digitisation, the lowest in the state. Election officials continue to accelerate the exercise to complete the revision before the deadline, the news agency reported.
