Maharashtra SSC results 2026: Pass percentage drops as Konkan tops state again

State pass percentage falls by 2.01 per cent; Mumbai ranks third among nine divisions, evan as girls continue to outperform boys in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education declared the Std X (SSC) results on Friday, revealing a 92.09 per cent pass rate for regular students. This marks a decline of 2.01 percentage points from last year’s 94.10 per cent. Out of 15.42 lakh regular students who appeared, 14.20 lakh cleared the exams.

Girls triumph

Continuing the trend, girls outperformed boys by 5.40 percentage points, securing a 94.96 per cent pass rate against the boys’ 89.56 per cent. Additionally, specially-abled students showed remarkable resilience, achieving an impressive 91.22 per cent result.
