The much-awaited Secondary School Certificate (SSC) result will be declared on Friday at 1 pm on the state board’s official website. Maharashtra State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad made the announcement on Thursday afternoon through a video message.

This will be the first-ever SSC result to be given without examinations, which the board could not conduct this year amid the unprecedented situation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. The result this year is going to be a compilation of academic records of students from Std IX and Std X. “We all have been very curious about the SSC result and lakhs of students have been waiting for it along with their parents. It will be declared on the state board’s website on Friday post noon. I wish good luck to all students,” said Gaikwad. There are a total of 16,58,624 candidates registered for SSC out of which 7,48,693 are girls and 9,09,931 are boys.
