Health check-ups and special medical camps will be organised across Maharashtra from July 15 to 22 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Medical Education Minister Hasan Mushrif announced on Thursday.

The initiative aims to expand access to preventive and specialised healthcare services for rural and vulnerable populations, amid rising cases of cancer, anaemia, non-communicable diseases and bone-related disorders in the state.
