In a core-members meeting of the Bombay Goods Transport Association (BGTA) on Tuesday it was decided that truckers from across the state would support the Bharat Bandh called by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) on February 26 by joining the protest.

Jai Kumar Gupta, president, BGTA, said, “The BGTA has been petitioning the government on various issues related to the transport industry, mainly the e-way bill under GST and unviable pricing policy of diesel. Our office bearers have also been meeting government officials to put forth their problems, but no resolution has been provided.”
