Maharashtra weather update: Heatwave grips state; Chandrapur hottest at 45 degrees Celsius

Vidarbha remained the hottest region in the state, with Chandrapur recording the highest maximum temperature at 45 degrees Celsius, significantly above normal levels. Other cities in the region, including Akola, Nagpur and Wardha, also witnessed temperatures above 44 degrees Celsius, indicating persistent heatwave-like conditions
