Maharashtra weather update: Jalgaon sizzles at 42.5 degrees Celsius as several districts record soaring temperatures

Maharashtra continued to reel under hot and dry weather conditions on Saturday, with several parts of the state recording temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Jalgaon in Madhya Maharashtra emerged as the hottest location in the state, recording a maximum temperature of 42.5 degrees Celsius, closely followed by Malegaon at 42.4 degrees Celsius and Akola in Vidarbha at 42.2 degrees Celsius.
