Several parts of Vidarbha continued to experience intense heat on Saturday, with Akola recording the highest maximum temperature in Maharashtra at 43.3 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) bulletin.

According to the weather department's observations, Vidarbha remained significantly hotter than most other regions of the state, while coastal districts experienced comparatively milder conditions.
