A local court here awarded one year's rigorous imprisonment to a 35-year-old man from Talsarai tehsil for beating up two villagers over a petty reason


A local court here awarded one year's rigorous imprisonment to a 35-year-old man from Talsarai tehsil for beating up two villagers over a petty reason. Dahanu First Class Judicial Magistrate S A Mulik also slapped a fine of Rs 1,000 on Sanjay Urhale for the assault.
The prosecution told the court that on January 20, 2015, Urhale thrashed two villagers and injured them during an argument. A case under Section 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against Urhale.
