A professor from a renowned SoBo college was on her way home on Saturday when she fell victim to a pervert's vulgar advances. Not only did he chase her and flash her, but after getting her attention, he started masturbating in front of her. She managed to get a policeman to chase him down and nab him. He was identified as Raigad native, Manoj Mohite, 39.
Spotted him following Around 12 pm on Saturday, the 39-year-old victim was walking towards Churchgate station when she sensed someone following her. She turned around to find a man in a waiter's outfit holding an umbrella. "When I looked at him, he pretended as if he was hunting for a building," she said.

She then kept walking, but near the Government Law College, she saw him again, this time walking parallel to her. When she stopped, he unzipped his trousers and started masturbating in front of her.

"I went inside Churchgate station, found a cop and told him the story. When we went to look for him, he was strolling around the station, looking at girls coming out of college," she added.

What the police say According to an officer from Marine Drive police station, "He was wearing a waiter's outfit so we took him there, but the employer said he was a temporary hire. Mohite claims when the woman saw him, he was urinating, not masturbating. We are checking the CCTVs to verify his claim." The police booked Mohite under IPC section 509 and produced him in a holiday court.
