A 38-year-old man stabbed his wife with a pair of scissors before attempting suicide by jumping off the balcony of their second floor rented flat in Diva. He is currently being treated for his injuries at Sion hospital. The 24-year-old woman had to get 12 stitches on her neck and hands. The Mumbra police have registered an attempt to murder case against the man. They said the incident happened around 11.30 am on Saturday.
