Despite the recent adoption of a Maratha quota Bill in the Maharashtra Assembly, Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil remains resolute in his hunger strike, demanding immediate action from the government.

Patil insisted on the implementation of the 'Sage Soyare' ordinance notification within the next two days, failing which, he said, Maratha community vows to escalate protests across the state, commencing from February 24.
