Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis late Monday evening held a meeting with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Maratha reservation which saw violent incidents across the state.

On Monday, District Collector Dipa Mudhol Munde issued prohibitory orders under CrPC 144(2) in a 5-kilometre radius area in the wake of the violent incidents over the Maratha reservation in Maharashtra's Beed, ANI reported. The prohibitory orders have been issued from the District headquarters and all taluka Headquarters in the district.
