Mumbai: Noted Marathi author and litterateur Chandrakant Khot passed away here today. He was 75.

Khot died in his sleep at around 4 AM in a temple near his family residence. He was virtually living in the temple for last five years, sources said. The state government kept sitting on his file for allotment of a house under artist quota, well-known Hindi author Ramesh Yadav alleged while talking to PTI.
