<p>The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Monday announced that marriage registration service will be temporarily stopped due to current Covid-19 situation in Mumbai.</p>
<p>The service will be restarted soon with the facility of appointment, date and time. The civic body is also exploring the provision of a video KYC option.</p>

<p>On Sunday, the daily Covid-19 cases dropped below 10,000, with the test positivity rate (TPR) also showing a downward trend. The number of deaths remained constant at 11, showed the civic body&rsquo;s data.</p>
<p>According to the BMC report, 7,895 new cases were added to the official on Sunday along with a TPR of 13.72 per cent. In the third wave, the highest TPR recorded in Mumbai was 29.9 per cent on January 6.</p>
