What is CIDCO up to?

I had applied for the CIDCO housing lottery and deposited Rs 2,00,000 on 28/02/2026, with the hope of securing a home in Navi Mumbai. However, to date, CIDCO has neither announced the lottery date nor provided any option for applicants to request a refund. It’s been four months now but no update from CIDCO. This situation is affecting nearly 50,000 people, many of whom are from economically weaker sections. It is deeply concerning that a government authority can collect such large sums from citizens without taking any action or offering clarity. Request your help.

Govt office in terrible state

The Stamp Duty & Registration Office at Jogeshwari West is functioning in an extremely unhygienic and neglected condition. The premises are littered with garbage, dusty cobwebs cover the walls and ceilings, and the building appears poorly maintained despite receiving hundreds of citizens every day. Such conditions pose health risks and reflect poorly on a public office meant to serve the public. The authorities concerned are requested to undertake immediate cleaning of the premises.
