Mid-day asks the Govt: Goregaon residents seek action against late-night drinking, smoking and illegal parking

Residents of Pandurang Wadi Cross Lanes 4 and 5 in Goregaon have complained of people drinking and smoking on footpaths until the early hours, causing noise and inconvenience. They also alleged that vehicles stopping at a nearby pan shop create illegal parking and traffic congestion in the narrow lane

Problems

Drinking, smoking on footpath till wee hours

At Pandurang Wadi Cross lane 5 and 4 in Goregaon, people can be found standing on footpaths at night and drinking and smoking till the wee hours. There is a pan shop where motorists stop to buy cigarettes and park in the narrow lane causing inconvenience to other vehicle owners. Kindly help us find a resolution to this.
