Mid-day Impact: BMC files complaint, FIR registered after dry waste allegedly dumped into Mogra nalla

An FIR has been registered against those responsible for allegedly dumping dry waste into the Mogra nalla near Lokhandwala Back Road in Andheri West, days after a video of the incident triggered public outrage.

The Oshiwara police registered FIR No. 1336/2026 on September 16 following a complaint by the BMC. The civic body has also started departmental and contractual action against those responsible.
