Minor raped at Marine Lines station

The Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested Suraj Singh, a 19-year-old boy for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl from Sewree on Friday. The girl had left her house after she had fight with her mother
According to the police, the victim left for her aunt’s house on January 6. From there, she left to go to another aunt’s house and reached CST. Here, she met the accused and befriended him.
On January 17, Singh allegedly raped her under a flyover at aroundu00a01.30 am. In the morning they returned to CST station. A volunteer from Bal Prafullata NGO, which works for minor children, became suspicious of their movements and interrogated them. The victim narrated the incident after which the volunteer took her to the GRP police station and registered an FIR against the Singh, who hails from Rajasthan, who works for a caterer in Mumbai.
