Missing Kalyan woman’s kin return empty handed from Tamil Nadu

The family of the missing woman and her son from Kalyan have given up, and returned from Tamil Nadu. The husband and brother of Anuradha Deokar had gone to Sivakasi on October 11 to find her. But after 10 days of rigorous search they found nothing. They have urged the police step up their efforts to trace her and her son.

On September 8, Vimal Bhagat, 54, her daughter Anuradha Deokar, 33, and her 8-year-old son left home at Mohne, Kalyan. Around 11 am, neighbours found the door of their flat open. They informed Bhagat’s husband Sahebrao about the disappearance, following which the Bhagat and Deokar families registered a missing complaint with police. Later, police found Vimal Bhagat’s body near the Ulhas river, but there were no trace of Deokar and her son.
