MMRDA launches 24x7 safety centre for project complaints, emergencies across Mumbai region

Complaints can include concerns over construction-site safety, barricading, traffic management around project works, road conditions or damage linked to construction activity, dust and other project-related inconvenience

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has set up a Safety & Response Co-ordination Centre (SRCC) to coordinate emergency responses, safety concerns and public grievances related to its infrastructure projects across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The centre is now operational and will function as a central point for reporting and monitoring concerns related to MMRDA projects, according to a release by MMRDA.
