MMRDA to rent out ad space on monorail stations and piers

The Wadala-Chembur monorail stretch of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) which has been facing a loss of over Rs 1.5 crore every month due to the lack of response from passengers will now be able to recover some of its losses since the planning authority is planning to sell the advertising space on monorail stations and piers.

Various corporates, institutions and product manufacturers will now be able to reach their target audiences as the MMRDA has decided to make more avenues – Mono Rail piers and station area – available for advertisements.
